Green LED क्या होती है?
Green LED एक Light Emitting Diode है
जो electric current मिलने पर green color की light emit करती है
यह भी एक semiconductor device है, जैसे red LED।
Green LED क्यों ज़रूरी थी?
Red LED invent होने के बाद एक limitation थी:
❌ सिर्फ एक ही color (red) available था
❌ display technology limited थी
Scientists चाहते थे:
- multiple colors
- better display systems
- color combinations
इसलिए Green LED develop करना जरूरी था
Invention of Green LED
Green LED को develop करने में कई साल लगे।
1970s में scientists ने पहली practical green LED बनाई
इसमें इस्तेमाल हुआ material:
Gallium Phosphide (GaP)
यह material green light emit कर सकता था
Problem in Green LED Development
Green LED बनाना red LED से ज्यादा मुश्किल था:
- सही semiconductor material ढूंढना मुश्किल
- brightness कम थी
- efficiency low थी
इसलिए green LED को perfect करने में काफी समय लगा
